the power antenna would be perfect, but you say that your head unit is not compatable with the rest of the RF package?
What if you took apart second cigarette lighter in the center between the seats, and splice the power from that. I think that is an "accesory" meaning that it is not powered unless the ignition is turned on. The only problem is that it would remain on if you turned your radio off.
Can you explain more about your head unit not being compatable?
So you have the RF package, and you have put in your own head unit? You are upgrading from the RF amp to a better one? Why won't the remote wire from the after market head unit work?
Just curious...
I don't have the RF package, but I do have two amps and a graphical EQ running from the remote wire out of my deck.
