Re: Help - Clunk noise when hitting bumps

Unfortunately a bump when you're going over a bump can be a ton of things. I run into a lot of Integras with this same complaint, and the most common thing i've seen is the upper trailing arm (or upper control arm as most call it) being bad. Other things to check would be the strut mounts, struts, sway bar mount bushings, sway bar links, springs, lower control arm bushings, or lower ball joints. Usually tie rod ends and CV shafts won't make noise when you're going over bumps unless they are REALLY bad, instead they'll make a clunking/thump when you turn. Just some things to look for if you're going to DIY, because that's what they'll be looking for if you take it somewhere.
