Let's tackle one problem per post and handle the 4x4 problem here. I suggest starting a new post for the other issues.

For the 4x4 problem; Check out the u-joints on the front drive shaft, and the bearings on each end of the frt driveshaft. Check the frt axle shafts, frt wheel bearings and check the engine and transmission mounts. Plus, check the transfer case fluid level. Has the transfer case fluid been changed lately?

Are all 4-tires the same brand name, the same size, the same tread design, and with the same amount of wear on each one?

How miles on vehicle? How long have you owned it? Do you know if it has ever had any work done on transmission, transfer case, frt axles, etc, etc?

Is it a 3-button or 4-button control for the 4x4? Do you know what transfer case you have - 233 or 236?
