Re: Need a set of rims

GOOD LUCK! Seriously, I have been looking since last Fall when I bought my van for a couple of steel wheels to mount a pair of snow tires to use on my van, but no luck. I was told that '06 was the first year for the 17" rims and there are very few extra around for sale, because of it's "newness". I've looked on eBay with no luck. Your best bet would be a salvage yard from a wrecked van. You could try www.car-part.com, as I've seen some on there, but shipping to my residence makes the overall price a little more than I really want to pay. I guess I'll have to wait a year or two more to find some good used ones at a REASONABLE price. (Forget what the dealer wants for one .I've even tried a local company that specializes in steel wheels for cars and trucks and they told me they are unavailable. Tirerack.com was also a "no-hitter", as that was the first place I tried, expecting they would carry them , but no they don't. A few years ago I bought a pair of steel wheels for my '97 Venture and a pair of snow tires . The rims cost me $35/ ea, not bad at all, and I got the tires mounted on the rims and shipped to me from their warehouse for only $18, a darn good price to ship 2 fully mounted snow tires on 2 rims.Let us know if you have any success, sorry to dampen your hopes, but I'm in the same boat as you are now.
