This IS a new pump (delphi). I'm thinking the low pressure issue was there on the old pump being caused by the ground issue. Unless I can find out differant info my plan is to ground the pump to the frame, where it seem to run correctly, then verify fuel pressure and leak down #'s are good. If this works out my intentions will be to leave it like this. I would like to find out where the black wire in the harness comes from but I don't think I'm willing to tear the harness apart to find out. We still might come up with a schematic later today though. I've got a local GM tech checking on it for me. Thanks and all suggestions are appreciated.
