I'd suggest going to the dealer and asking for the # for that year/model, then buy off Ebay. I got a good working one for $30. The # may also be in your manual. If you don't have a manual you can also get them off Ebay for $5 as a PDF file.
Example of # for a 1992 PAU which is on the back of the FOB:
Model FCC: ABC0302T
