Well, I don't drink, smoke, or do anything "bad", but in my opinion Pot should be legalized. Although I personally have no desire to drink or smoke pot, other people should and I think they should have the right to choose. The government fears giving people power of decision, yet I think that vesting responsibility in people makes them act responsibly.

Besides, pot isn't as addictive or troublesome as tobacco and alcohol, so there's not reason why it should be so taboo and a bottle of jack and some smokes is perfectly okay. Although some say it is a gateway drug and the evidence for or against it's harmful side effects aren't always clear, alcohol and tobacco pose more of a problem to us.

So, although I don't have a desire to do any, and I don't think any need to be legal (but prohibition definitely WON'T work) the government should make it legal.
