Bad luck for your mom. And whats wrong with people these days! Leaving a perfictly good 1/2" drill bit just laying in the road. Please tell me you kept it.

Thats one expensive rim man. Well i guess when you think about it, it is like a 22 inch rim and getting rubber to wrap around those things is quite a pricy process.

I think it would have to have wedged and gotten run over. I've heard of things flying out from under cars at speeds faster then the car was traveling, but in order to puncture the tire and rim... You would need more then just a projectile flying quicly. You would need the weight of the car to push it through. The tire just stablized the bit in an upright position. Tell your Dad I'm taking your side man...
