For daily driver use, stick with chromemoly. They last a lot longer. Aluminum is good for high RPM usage - in an engine which will see frequent refreshes/rebuilds.
I personally run COMP Magnum 1.5:1 chromemoly rollers in my engine and after 280k miles, they're doing A-OK.
