At 225K the original motor is probably on borrowed time for a rebuild. Same with the tranny.....those would be the big ticket items. If the truck is in overall good condition cosmetically and shows signs of being well kept, then as long as you can absorb the cost of (worst case) replacing the tranny and/ or the engine then I would say go for it.
At this stage of the game, a lot of what'll be going on with this truck is stuff just flat wearing out.....
