Yes. As there is less sidewall flex on bigger rimmed tires, vibrations and bumps are a lot harder, you lose the "soft" ride with the stock 15" or 16". Before you buy any sized rim, research what bushings and parts wear most commonly, and look up on online part sources for the replacement cost of those parts and see if you can afford to replace those parts all at once about a year or two down the road (depending how much you put on your car in a year)
