It's a common "swap". Move the crossmember back and drill new holes in the frame to bolt it down. Shorten the driveshaft the appropriate amount, and iunstall the TH-400 slip-yoke.... Shift linkage and the electric kick-down switch can be an adventure!
If there's not enough "room" for the crossmember, you may need to "notch" it, and move only the section that the mount bolts to. A good fabricator may be called for.
