I had the same problem but I found out that it was a anti-theft problem. Take the underside of the sterring column off and unplug the 2 plugs that plug into the electronic ignition switch,this is a black plug and a white plug, this will help to reset the computer. Leave it unplugged for about 30 minutes and then plug it back up and try it again. Also GM has a recall out for ignition problems with a switch that is located on the bottom of the steering column.
