Depending on your location it normally runs between 40-60 dollars.
It is frustrating to replace because of its location in the vehicle,

But if you look down the driver's side of the engine, on the bellhousing, you will see a sensor with 2 wires. That is it, It will connect to a connector near the fuel rail.

To replace you will need several long extension bars, a rag, jack stands or ramps. I raised the front of the jeep, removed the front drive shaft (4X4), lowered the transmission (do not remove), used the rag to cover the hole where the sensor is so the screws would not fall in the bellhousing and simply removed the screws and replaced.
If you have a Haynes it shows/explains how to do it.
