As long as it's not a newer car wihin the last few years , that material should be fairly brittle and you can easily chip it out with a knife or screw driver or putty knife. However , in my 99' RS , I used a heat gun to seperate and weaken the bond to the metal and it worked fairly easy. However , it's a long job no matter how you look at it.
