So you didn't take it off (like you said)...you disabled it.

There's a difference. BIG bifference.

I started a car with the EGR valve off one time. It was...interesting...and loud.

I also started a '68 Chevy's 396 with no carb on it....ever hear a big block turn about 9000 RPM with no intake restriction? ...pretty scary...dumb idea...
