Those inline 5's have cost lots of people lots of money!
They have developed a bad reputation for needing a complete rebuild at around the 100,000k mark.

I used to work for NZ largest fleet operator. A number of contractors all tried the sprinters, as they are fantastic to drive, and have huge amounts of room.
But far to many of them suffered engine failures at should be considered low milage for a commercial engine.
All but a few of them switched to Toyota Hi-Ace's very quickly.

The current Ford Transit isn't much better by the way.
