Assuming it isn't something like tire pressure that caused lights to come on, I would guess there is bad connection (loose/corroded) to the hub/bearing assembly. I have seen quite a few cases of this. If the bearing was bad it would make noise, but the sensor could have been bad also and no noise from that.
