Hey all! I am new to these forums since I stumbled across this site. I have seen some very outstanding pieces on here and I thought I would share some of my work that I have been recently getting into. I have been fortunate enough to have been receiving commission work from some friends of mine through
(link removed by moderator). I own a couple Mustangs and am a regular there. Well, one day my painter (who painted my 66) and I had a conversation about how I wanted to be an industrial designer and that it fizzled out because my portfolio was not abstract enough. I mentioned that I wanted to start gettingback into my art, particularly automotive. Well, he asked me to draw up a car that he was going to be starting on and gave me one direction....make it orange. Well, when I finished that I posted it and some orders started rolling in. I have posted a link here to all four drawings that I have done in this style, and can post more when I get them done. Sorry they are all Mustangs, but I have yet to venture outside of this forum to the others yet (plus I am a little bias
). I know that many of you are quite talented and any comments, suggestions, etc. is appreciated as I feel that I can always improve. My style is reminiscent of Chip Foose (who I would LOVE to meet one day...shook his hand once, but didn't get to talk to him. The medium for these is solely Prismacolor Marker on Canson Pro-Layout Marker Paper. Let me know what you think....sorry for the ramble, just thought it would be good to have the background.
