Re: A/C at your beck and call?
In the first place, you don't need the A/C on automatic. In the second place, the A/C is an important part of your windshield defrost system - it removes moisture from the air INside the vehicle. I wouldn't think of disableing it in the winter time, and I live in Idaho where it gets cold and snowy. The A/C is for much more than just cooling hot summertime air.
