WOO HOO! Found out what happened to all the power the motor has! Some idiot(might have been me, don't think it was though) put the firing order 1-2-4-3. After a couple phone calls to Ami and Jer to see what they thought on the IACV, I started playing with unplugging fuel injectors and plug wires. Well unplugging #2 and #3 FI did nothing(no change in idle), but unplugging the wires would result in the car stalling. After messing around with it for awhile, while I was waiting for an ohmmeter, I decided to switch 3 and 2 on the firing order. The idle smoothed right out, and the faulty IACV finally started showing its true symptom(fluxuating idle). I still have a problem with the idle, but the car runs a helluva lot better than it has been this past week, and hopefully this time $20 in gas will last longer than 70 miles.
I don't see the clutch lasting long though...ofcourse Im already smoking the tires. The thing grabs pretty quick and goes. Need to go get some synchromesh and see how well it works. 4th gear grinds at times, and you can feel the gears hitting if you pull just a little back on the shifter in 2nd and 4th. Just as long as I watch myself, it shouldn't grind any though, just gotta be a little more gently going through the gears(no, I don't normally super power shift either)
