This is looking at an '88 C/K manual so your '85 may be different.
1. Replace the A/C HTR fuse (25a). This fuse powers the blower switch.
2. If fuse replacement is no help then you need to look at 1) the switch or wiring to it, 2) the resitor pack or wiring to it, 3) the fan motor or wiring to it or the ground to the fan motor.
3. Replace the item #1 fuse even though it may test good. It's a cheap thing to do and if it doesn't fix it we can go from there.
