Yeah, definitely go ahead and replace it. It's really simple and straight forward. I remember some time ago when I was first changing my belt, I went to loosen the tensioner and the damned thing broke in half. They're definitely not made to last.

EDIT: The entire assembly is called the Belt Tensioner. It includes the wheel itself and the metal bracket behind it. You can pick it up at any auto parts store. I believe you have to take the wheel off first then you can get to the 2 screws that hold the bracket on.
