Sounds like you are right on track there. I like the rv pumps they look compact and heavy duty enough. The household compressors are way to noisey, if you are concerned about noise. The airbrush ones would be a good choice for a 120 volt. They are about the same noise level as the suspension ones. There is nothing like a good loud horn to let others know to get out of your way. Cool project
