Its one of those things alot like speeding. In all reality, speeding tickets are officer's discretion. I don't know how many times I've gone by a cop going decently over the limit (10-15), and he left me alone because I was going fast, but the traffic conditions were ok, and I wasn't driving like a unitard.

But then again, Texas has some interesting traffic laws.

I wouldn't speed past a cop, I don't want to give him (or her) the satisfaction of seeing me break the law, even if it is at their discretion.
