I have been around cars a long time and have never heard this one. Although anything is possible. There is a power cable that runs to the fuse block and if that connection were to fail the car would probably stall and not restart. I had this happen once to a Dodge ambulance and had to rewire around it but with the newer cars this is almost unheard of.
Did the dealership replace the fuse block and if so is the car back in running order?
