Hello Together,
you maybe know me as a JDM cars builder from WIP Street.
I really love JDM car kits, but before I have discovered that love I loved American classics and I still have a nice collection of AMT & Revell kits.
Nice chance to get back on them is the 60īs era contest at SPC. 60īs .... sounds good to call it `Gone in 60 Secondsī
And thatīs my project, AMTīs 67 Shelby GT350 #6633. I loved the movie with Nic. Cage and for sure Eleanore.
This is what I did so far:
Front bumper from Plastruckt square rods and styrene sheets with aluminium tubing for the fog lamps.
Indicators worked into the front by side the head lights.
Removed the grille, door handles, wipers, rear fuel filler cap and fender arches.
Made new arches from Tamy smooth epoxy.
Made side skirts from styrene rods with alu side exhaust.
Opened and reworked the scoops.
Scratchbuild a wheel inlet master from Revellīs Cobra to have real Helibrand Knockoff wheels in 17-18inch.
Still lots of work remains, like the power dome, my own engine set up, rebuild the suspension....
Here some pics, hope you like them
