There is no particular place that these cars leak anymore than the other; however, the condenser, evaporator and compressor front seal are usually the first suspect. If you charge the system with a refrigerant/dye mix and the leak is in the condenser, compressor, accumulator, or hoses, those leaks can usually be detected using a UV light.

If it is the evaporator, you will need a “sniffer” to find the leak. Any reputable AC shop would have leak detectors of some type and should be able to help identify where the leak is. Are you still using R12, or has the system been converted to R134a?
