Are you saying that the collision literally warped the vehicle, and so the door is jammed shut and won't open, or did the collision jar the internal rods off, and all you need to do it fix that problem?
It's possible (but difficult) to remove the door panel with the door closed, without breaking anything on the outside. However, that's not to say that the openings that hold the fasteners on the door panel won't tear open. I had to do this, but some strong adhesive fixed the torn areas of the panel, and at least the damage was where nobody could actually see it.
