first of all a "beemer" is the bike. A "bimmer" is the car. How long have you owned this?

In any event I believe you are stuck. BMW phone technology is very proprietary, meaning unless you pop for the $850.00, you ain't going to be able to use the Bimmer phone connection. Or at least that is my understanding.
