thank you so so much for your effort in helping, if you or anyone you know has access to a manual or in the least where to find one that would be good, i could probably take it to a shop and pay a good few hundred dollars to fix it, i don't have the tools or the time to do it myself... my dad works for o'reilly's and i can access them but i don't live with him nor do i get to see him all that much plus i work, overall it's not worth it just to have a few extra MPG but if i could flip a switch on long trips it would be. i know that it's not going to be the best and that it will probably still stick some, but it won't be running all the time. and that link was awesome, very good info but nothing on the wireing just step by step install of the solenoid. thanks again you've been a great help.
