Trailer Battery Not Charging Off Harness

I have a 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 with the factory towing package and the factory 6-pin trailer wiring harness. When I hook up my camper to the harness the battery is not charging while in transit the way it should be. Usually by the time I get to my destination approx. 3hrs away, my camper is about 3/4 dead from running the fridge.

I had an Explorer previously that the camper dealer installed a wiring harness on and it worked fine, so I know its not the trailer. I talked to the service tech at the trailer dealership and he told me that even though the truck has a factory towing package, sometimes there is a fuse under the hood that is not installed from the factory that would be the connection to charge the trailer battery. I looked under the hood in the fuse panel, but the only open holes I see do not have connections to accept a fuse.

Can anyone help me track down this mysterious fuse? I don't want to have to pay for a service tech to put it in.
