Yeah, sounds like he's about where I would like to be. Probably running a 3.4 pulley w/supporting mods and tuned. I hope to run 14.6ish here soon. I dont want to go to the track while its so hot... Maybe next Wednesday I'll hit it and see if I have any gains from my mods yet...
It sure as hell feels alot more aggresive down low and up top since I got the Intense PCM and correctly installed my FWI and now that I'm running a 180 t-stat my car is running a whole lot cooler and from what I know about this engine thats a good thing...
Keeping it cooler reduces something called knock retard. I feel wierd even saying that, but the cooler the engine is the lower the KR the better performance and ability to drop more pulley size for more boost. Thats why supporting mods need to be done first before each pulley size drop.
By time you get to a 3.0-2.8 pulley the car is pretty heavily modified and pretty fast running mid to low 12's @ 110-115ish
