This changes things a bit, but not much. Since they aren't married or in the same house, the friction would be totally yours. You live with your aunt, and that could become a very nasty situation if she's toally against it. What are you going to do if she won't allow you to park it in her driveway? If she's your legal guardian, she could be vindictive, and not allow you to take driver's training (or revoke your license if you have one already). Tread on this carefully. A car is nothing compared to a loved one's feelings.
