Boy do I ever have a story for you fuckers. Dont worry, Brian, there'll be some cliff notes but to get the full feeling of this story you should just take 8 minutes of your day and do some fuckin work

. Anyway, so here she goes!
So where did I leave off.... oh yeah, putting the hood and wheels on. Wheels went on good, but the hood was a bit whiney. I was workign on it and what do you know but it slips and fucking takes a big gouge out of the side of my head. So there I am bleeding all the fuck over, yeah, not a lot of fun. So it quits and I start it and drive it out of the shop... remember this was at about 1:15 or so. I went back into the shop and notice something interesting... an oil puddle. So I go out and check and sure enough shes squirting pretty good. I stop it, run to walmart, get new oil, fill 'er up and check the level, and turn it on again to see exactly where its coming from. Well, I found the culprit to my other motor shitting the bed... there was a big ass hole in the oil return tube! So great, now I get to change that. Out comes the jack and tools and my spare return tube.
So there I am going to work on the return tube. The old one comes off and I am like, "Hmmm, how the hell am I going to get the bolts onto the turbo?" My old extensions wouldnt reach so I go to fleet and get a crime-stoppin 18" extension. I come back and go to work on getting it back on. This is about 2:30. I called my brother to wish him well for the last two weeks of his camp and go back to work. I got the oil pan bolts on and am working on the turbo ones and I was having a hell of a time getting those top bolts on! Lots of dinkin around and it finally got there. I snugged up the first one and was tightening the other one. It just got snug and I was going to just firm it up a bit and *snap*.
So there I am in utter disbelief. WTF did I just do? Sure enough I twisted the head right off the screw. I got my vice grips, pliers, and needle nose and wen to work trying to get that broken off bolt off. Luckily, it broke off flush with the dump tube not the turbo so I could get it off provided decent grip/leverage. My buddy called me at 4:15 and offered to come help. By the time he got there I had the turbo basically off, it was probably about 5:00 that it came off. Sure enough the bolt came out without trouble. The top of the dump line was bolted on right there to oliviate that headache. We started to get it back in and it took for damn ever because of the front water line on the turbo was gettin in the way. We finally got the engine bay back together around 7:00. It took another hour or so to get those bottom oil dump tube bolts on, which is rediculous I know but THEY WOULD NOT GO ON!!! AHHHH!!!
So there we are all buttoned up and ready. Had to go to wally's world again for some coolant. Got back and filled the oil and coolant and started her up. She was running pretty decent but running sorta shitty. We figured it was the 1 year old gas. Took a trip yet again to Walmart and got some 92. That helped a bit, but still mildly choppy. We took it for a good 38 mile rip and had a fuckin blast... not even building one pound of boost. This motor has to last yall, I will not be beating on it. So we picked up some food and it got sorta hot sitting there in drive through... no fans. So we get it out on the highway and it cooled down but then the hot light came on. We pulled over and found no pressure in the system. We filled the overflow bottle and the radiator and figured we should be fine now. Then Mike points towards the turbo, "Whats that cord?" I had forgotten to plug in the o2 sensor housing! Plugged it in and now it
does run like a fuckin top. We just found that we gotta keep and eye on the coolant level and I am going to have to hardwire the fans

. I wanted to avoid that but I dont know how to fix it and I sure as hell dont want to pay someone to fix it. Anyway, thats the story, but I had to come home right after that. So yeah, I have had a long fucking day but it was completely vindicated in the end

.
I love that car guys! It ran soooo nice. Its a bit loud, but it purrs real nice. I am just going to have to get a resonator and hopefully quiet it down a bit. I do have quite the shit in the closet, but its going to stay stock cam'd and stock boost until I can get DSMlink, taking no chances. Anyway, thats the story for the night. Sorry guys, I know I promised but I can hardly stay wake. Plus I should really have some all finished pics to show off

. Anyway, later all.
Cliff notes:
-Lots of bad shit happend
-Worked on aforementioned bad shit for a good 7 hours longer than I should have had to
-The Purple People Eater is running good now
