The BCM module is the one with the 10293827 part number. It is the larger of any of the modules you see. I believe the smaller is the DRL module. You can confirm by removing the two electrical connectors and DRL operation to include auto headlight should not be functioning when releasing the emergency brake and you will have manual control only via the headlamp switch. Easier to remove that module from the mounting tray before removing the electrical connectors. So the question is where is your EBCM/EBTCM module? According the the '97 GM Grand Prix FSM it is supposed to be located in the same general area but I see with the annotation "behind left side of instrument panel". Also, there is an ABS relay (electronic brake control relay) located in the same general area.
