Hard to say. Exhausts don't really add noticeable hp on our cars. Dyno tests has shown the GReddy (on and SE-R) to gain between 3-5 hp.

I think the "fattened" section you're talking about is the resonator. You could get a pipe that eliminates this, but it will add a lot of noise - and directly above the cabin. I wouldn't do it. You could get a custom B pipe made that is 2.25" diameter and get a better flowing resonator on it.

Not without driving them both. Sound and noise is very subjective. You can even use dB to compare because sound
quality factors in and that is a personal matter.

highly recommend the Remus. Low noise with the right sound IMHO.
