Thanks e powers. I realize that if I have pinging I have to use higher octane and I realize there are other issues if it is pinging. I am not having that problem now.
What I am asking is: If I install the rocker mod, would I have to go to a higher octane. I'm not clear as to what the mod does to increase the performance.
As for the hot water mod. Don't waste your time. You won't gain anything. I tried is and it didn't do anything. The hot water is there for a reason, which I believe is to "cool" the egr exhaust gases (which is a lot hotter than the coolant) which are ported back into the intake for reburn. The best bang for me was the underdrive pulley.
