The symptom you describe is right on for the IAC (Idle Air Control).
When you take your foot off the accellerator, the PCM takes over control of the idle speed......using the IAC to control how much air to let into the engine.
The IAC has a little motor inside that drives a screw, which in turn opens and closes a small valve.
You want to spray some Sea Foam "Deep Creep" or even WD-40 into the IAC.
You remove the 2 small bolts that hold the IAC to the upper intake manifold....right next to the Throttle body.
Spray into the IAC such that the fluid runs out.....flushing dirt and such out with it.
If that does not work.....you may need to replace the IAC.
