AHHHHHHHH!!! Holy balls tits ass fucking guys! I havent slept in like 30 hours and I couldnt for another 30... I am so excited I am shaking. Heres the story.
As you all know, my Talon is dead. Spun bearing, duface previous owner. I bought my buddy's black '91 AWD Talon as a parts car. Then I have the Cavy as a DD, so I own three cars as of now. Well, I was out late helping my buddy rip the engine out of his MR2. I got home and did some stuff and was like fuck going to bed, I wont be able to get up for word at 6:30. Well, I was bored off my as and just parusing around the internet when I decided to check the classifieds on a MN based DSM forum. Theres a guy in there selling his silver-ish looking 91 TSI AWD for parts, its missing quite a bit.... all but a complete long block minus the turbo. Pretty cool eh? I see the milage, 179k. Then I was like bah fuck that, I was going to low ball him and see if I couldnt limp that high mileage of a motor for a while until I get the new motor built. Well wouldnt ya fuckin know, but I keep reading and its been rebuilt 15k miles ago!!! HOLY FUCKIN SHIT!!! I am so excited I could just shit! I am going to call him on morning break today at work and arrange the sale. Thus I am aquiring my fourth car, and oddly enough 3 are AWD DSM's none of which run!
BUT once I can get down there and get it home, the engine will be pulled from it, put on a stand, the goodies from my other two cars are going on it, the Purple People Eater's spun ass motor is coming out, and the all goodied up motor is going back in!
