Re: Can anyone comment on "Bendix" brand brake pads?

I'm running the bendix semi-metallic pads on all four corners of my 2000 LeSabre Limited. Pad life is excellent but during cold weather they make a significant amount of noise. At low speeds in all temperature conditions they tend to sqeak. Stopping power is better than average and rotor wear is good. Next time I'll probably spring for ceramic pads to reduce noise. I've also noticed that I get some mild squeaking from the rear brakes even when the peddle is not being applied, I really havn't had time to investigate that further but I didn't notice it before the pads were changed. So far I've put about 20k miles on the pads and they hardly show any wear.
