engine and trans id
does anyone know how to id the year of an engine and trans from the markings?
I have a 3800 series II engine from a Riviera and want to put it into my 99 Reagl GS, but I want to make sure it wil fit and work correctly.
What type of trans goes in these things?
I'm not sure of the year of the Riviera cause the guy at the junkyard did not know the year it came from.
Can you id it from the markings?
Is there a book or something I can use to id it?
