Re: What should i do

I put a 351w in a 4cyl mustang. The 5.0/5.8 motors will fit right in, but there is alot of work to be done. If you want to go carb'd there is alot of work to do with that swap as well. Its really not that bad, you just need to research it and make sure you can go thrue with it from start to finish before you start tearing stuff apart. If you kept the truck 5.0 stock and transfered all the wiring harness/computer stuff then I dont see why it wouldnt work. But, you would probably be better off to buy a 5.0 wiring harness aas well as the rest of the fuel injection stuff for the SN95 cars if you where to go EFI. Your best bet would be to buy a 5.0 car in good condition and go from there. But also know that with the stock E7 heads on the 87-93 mustangs a cam change will give very little power. You would be better off to do a heads/cam/intake swap to pick up some power. But if you get too carried away (like I did) you will have to upgrade your shortblock, trans, driveshaft, rearend, suspension, and eventually your whole chassis. Take a look at my build threads (you can find them by searching). Let me know if you have any questions.
