I'm going to assume that this is posted in the right forum and the vehicle is not a corolla or something with front wheel drive. So, I'm going to say probably wheel bearings are shot. Pretty easy/cheap fix. Jack up the front end and roll the tire and try to shake it parallel to the ground and see what you hear. If the bearings are shot, don't wait, fix it now or you are asking for an accident
