Re: Auto Locks Problem
Well the silicon in the track worked, thanks cjstew4 for the info on the slow/stuck window. However, the door unlock still does not work.
According to the manual it is either the switch or a short in the wire. I replaced the switch with no change. The wire in question is very small diameter white wire that goes into the door then into the dash. I traced it through thr rubber conduit between the door and dash with no 'shorts' detected. From there I don't know.
According to the wire diagram the driver and passenger unlock wires are tied together and then they enter the computer module. Does anyone have any info about these wires and where the likely short is located? Now, the passenger side unlock works just fine, only the drivers side does not work.
