It won't cost anything but time to call around to some of the locksmiths in your area to see if they can make a house call and program new keys to your car to replace the last lost transponder key.
I know in my area there is at least one mobile guy who can do it. He services a few of the used car lots that only received one programmed key, etc. Actually, that's another option. If you don't find somebody in the phone book, check with some of the used car lots.
Be sure to get three keys made (or two and buy a spare off of eBay) and get them all programmed. I believe your 2000 is still they type that requires at least two programmed keys to reprogram more. That way, as soon as your daughter loses one key, you can purchase another spare and program it (along with the keys you still have) on your own.
