99 Solara oil light on and engine problem
I was driving my 99 Solara and the oil light on the dashboard came on. I checked the oil - it was fine, so I kept driving, but then the engine started losing power. By the time I made it home, it was running very rough, started making loud noises (like a rattling, scratching and even banging at times). I got off the car and saw that it suddenly had started leaking oil (no oil leaks prior to this incident). I am afraid to even start it and don't know what could be wrong.... Can anyone help?
