Re: Converting the BMW M1 Protour into a Ferrari Daytona 365 GTB/4 LeMans

I told you all I lazy. I'll always take a straight-6 over a V-12 any day

They are not really visible in the final fitment but to trll truth I left them there on purpose - I thought they looked kind of cool

I think that it is more reflection than silvering but I'll check again. I used a lot of Sol to get it down. In fact I had such an ocean of Set&Sol that I couldn't see the placement area properly and it was only afterwards that I realized I had placed it too much to the right

You are right about the BMW logo but there was nothing I could do about it. Anything thin enough to not cover the the logo was too small for the plug wires and anything big enough to let me use regular insulated plug wire was so large it looked out of scale and covered the whole head cover Honestly, I have been f*rting around with this for a week trying different rods, tubes, syringe needles and wires etc. In the end I said 'miiiing****" and did it like this

My reference pictures showed that some cars had this rail on the left, some on the right and others not at all. I wanted to add it felt that covering the roundel was the lesser evil

The whole thing needed to be a compromise.
