I would look at the Transmission Control Module.....or the power train control module. Make sure the harness connections are secured. I would disconnect and reseat them first. Then clear the code and drive it.

Come to think of it, I think I had a P0700 on my last long trip. I was going up a mountain and I was really stressing it and the CEL came on and it lost power.

I took it easy and got to where I was going and cleared the code the next morning (I carry a code checker with me on trips.). NO reoccurance since.
