Re: Williams FW-19 Villeneuve 1/24 Revell

Here is a recent update... with bad news

My paint mix with acrylic was not that great, it ended up getting weak, I should've mixed more future and isos alcohol with it. I think Tamiya acrylics and Gunze have that really strong agent solvent which makes the paint strong, I mean that clear part you see before you mix the paint together. I don't buy Tamiya paints as it's too expensive in North America (Canada), cost like 1 dollar cdn in Asia for a bottle...but I get more skills and experience working with more difficult acrylics.
The primer was a bit too smooth, so no bite for the paint to settle on.

Here is the paint coming off with tape, I found out when masking out for the white portion for the car...

Here is your answer jmwallac,
You are correct, I did cut out the rear bulkhead, sorry for the long wait... The paint used should be ultramarine blue, but I mixed some phthalo blue mixed with light blue, it looks quite close to the original plastic colour for reference.

Paint all stripped, primed again, this time with a better primer, a rougher general purpose I use and no problems ever, I'll need to sand though, but still better than Krylon...
